Getting micro-cracking after the third 40C wash on a 60/40 cotton-modal using water-based pigment (156 mesh, light pretreat, 320F for 90s cure), and the hand stiffens if I push the binder. What pretreat chemistry or low-temp crosslinkers have given you durable wash/abrasion performance on this blend without compromising drape, and are you tweaking dwell or post-cure to keep compatibility with modal’s slicker fibers?
